CREATING STORY BOARD
Scenario1.png

The cross-functional team worked on animation to use for marketing purposes in social media. We designed two scenarios.

  1. The inspirational scenario is more general to focus on any one cause or any one way to contribute.

  2. The instructional scenario represents the user story using GiveShop from discovery by friend's recommendation to using it.

ACCESSIBILITY AUDIT
Accessibility Audit.png

Before the audit, the homepage had a background with a green gradient. While checking the contrast ratio, I discovered that white text and green from deepest to light has a low contract.
The action button has a yellow background and black text, which may be too strong and harsh for the viewer.
The home page has different buttons, such as white with the pink outline and pink text with a low contrast ratio.
Also, these are not consistent usage of the color, which may confuse the user.

"Tanya is a super talented designer.  We recruited Tanya to join the GiveShop team after seeing her portfolio and her amazing work on Instagram.  As soon as Tanya joined the team, she jumped in to help evaluate the accessibility of our website and made proposals to help improve our user experience.  She also helped create a portfolio of illustrated characters based on our user personas, portraying the beauty in diversity.  Her illustrations are playful, fun, and provide a unique perspective.  She also partnered with our animator to create and bring these characters to life in our GiveShop User Journey video.  We are so thankful to have been able to work with such great talent!"

"Tanya is a talented designer with an understanding of user experience design. I had an excellent experience working with Tanya in the GiveShop on creating a promotional marketing video. She guided us in visual design to apply to the website and incorporate it into a marketing video. Tanya has excellent communication skills and is a great storyteller, so her presentations with stakeholders were engaging and influenced our design strategy. Tanya created original illustrations that made personalized and exciting experiences for users. She used research data to improve the visual design and accessibility of the website. Tanya is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules. I would love to collaborate with Tanya in the future!"
